In early 2008, the university of waterloo underwater technology team called for the design of a lighting system for their Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), “Neo”.
My response to this proposal was a document outlining preliminary research into the topic. The report can be viewed here
The team decided upon option 3.2.2 –Depth Rated Flashlight, because of its flexibility to be used in future vehicles, and its low cost.
